用法：
將本產品存放在陰涼、乾燥和避光的地方。打開後 6 個月內使用。保持罐子乾燥，不受潮。
快速去角質：在潔面乳中撒上 1/2 茶匙，進行去角質清潔。單獨用作快速去角質劑時，潤濕面部和雙手。將 1/2 茶匙放在掌心，再滴入幾滴水。在皮膚上按摩和去角質，然後沖洗乾淨。每週使用 1-3 次。

This gentle manual Almond Rose Exfoliant: Hydrating Nutrients doubles as an intensely hydrating and nourishment rich mask. Soft grains remove dull, surface skin cells while roots and petals provide hydration, vitamins, and antioxidants to reveal a dewy glow.
This dual Exfoliant/Mask is an unsung hero of the Laurel Skin line. Those who have found a place for it in their slow beauty ritual know its efficacy is worth its usage learning curve. The combination of Oats and Almonds provide water-based nutrients like B Vitamins and oil-based nutrients like Vitamin E, both essential for a healthy skin barrier. While most manual exfoliants can be too harsh for delicate facial skin, Almonds and Oats are the opposite; both of them are incredibly soft, making this exfoliant far gentler to all skin types than chemical or enzymatic exfoliants.
Marshmallow Root acts as a super hydrator by mimicking the hyaluronic acid in our own skin. Heirloom Rose Petals, another highlight in this formula, provide Vitamin C, anthocyanin, and barrier-supporitve lipids. Our favorite and most sustainable superfood, Nettle, contains amino acids, enzymes, vitamins and minerals that are all essential building blocks for healthy cells and connective tissue. The theme of all of these nutrient-rich plants is to replenish and rebuild post-exfoliation.

Nutrients for Hydration
Hyaluronic Acid, B Vitamins and Polysaccharides: These are common, synthetic, chemical compounds found in conventional skin care used to hydrate the skin. When formulating whole plant skin care, we are lucky that Nature has provided us with all of these things already, so that we don’t have to rely on synthetic ingredients. Those same hydrating compounds are found concentrated in many grains, roots, and petals. In the case of our Almond Rose Exfoliant; Oats, Marshmallow Root and Rose Petals are providing those compounds for their ability to thoroughly hydrate the skin.
Regionally Sourced and Why
Our Almond Rose Exfoliant is one of our most regionally sourced products, at over 90% sourced within Northern California. When we speak about our sourcing, the romantic aspect of that is often zeroed in on and we are sometimes referred to as a “California” line. In reality, we should be considered a highly sustainable, regenerative and conscious line, that continues to push the boundaries of what is possible in terms of industry sourcing responsibility.
Sourcing regionally is not just a romantic story, but for any “green” brand should be an actual responsibility to source as close to the manufacturing location as possible. Regional sourcing reduces the resource footprint on the Earth and supports at a community level as opposed to a commercial distribution level, which is often ethically questionable. Despite us speaking on this topic since the earliest days of Laurel Skin, ethical sourcing continues to be looked over by the beauty industry – no doubt because of the amount of work and cost put on brands to source ingredients in a way that does not encourage continued cycles of poverty and enslavement. You can help by asking brands where they get their ingredients and about how their farmers are compensated.
Usage
Store this product in a cool, dry and dark place. Use within 6 months of opening. Keep jar dry and free from moisture.
Quick Exfoliant: Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of Almond Rose Exfoliant in with your cleanser for an exfoliating cleanse. To use as a quick exfoliant alone moisten face and hands. Place 1/2 teaspoon in the palm and trickle in a few more drops of water. Massage and exfoliate over the skin and rinse. Use 1-3x per week.
Exfoliating Hydration Mask: Put 1 teaspoon or less Almond Rose Exfoliant into a small dish. Using approximately twice as much water as Mask, trickle in a bit of water with your fingers until it is a runny paste. Allow the Mask to steep and thicken for a few minutes. The nutrients will activate and the Mask will thicken into a rich oatmeal consistency. Pat and massage onto skin to exfoliate. Leave on for 10-20 minutes, keeping the mask hydrated with water throughout. The longer the mask is left on the more frequently it will need to be rehydrated to stay active. Rehydrate it with a wet mask brush, wet fingertips, a mister bottle of water, or steam from bath or shower. For removal, rinse off the mask with water and follow with Elixir and Serum.
